The punch bar
No wall tablet, no badges, no apps on personal phones. Staff type their PIN on a registered clinic computer and hours picks the right action: in, out, lunch, or break. Only computers you've registered can punch.
Hours and pay
Overtime thresholds, vacation pay, and stat holidays follow your province's employment standards, from Ontario to BC. Month end is a review and a CSV for your bookkeeper, not a spreadsheet weekend. hours prepares payroll; it never remits it.
Staff self-service
From home or the clinic, staff open their my-hours page with their name and PIN: hours worked, punch history, and time-off requests. No accounts to create, nothing to install.
The record
Punches are append-only. Corrections never overwrite the original, they sit beside it with who, when, and why. Odd days (a missed punch-out, a double punch) land in an exceptions inbox instead of hiding in the math.

hours is free while it's in beta, for the whole clinic, with nothing to cancel. After the beta it's CA$69 per clinic per month, and beta clinics hear from us before anything changes.
